Bahare Noorizade

Iranian · b. 1978 · Doost Art artist

Bahare Noorizade is an Iranian artist whose figurative works explore vulnerability, growth, memory, intimacy, and the relationship between life and death. Working primarily with oil pastel, marker, and ink on cardboard, she develops images in which human figures, plants, bodily forms, and symbolic elements often coexist. Wounds and processes of healing and transformation recur throughout her practice, connecting physical experience with emotional and psychological states. Her exhibitions Flourishing from Wounds and Life in the Arms of Death examine growth through injury, the human need for closeness, and the fragile relationship between holding on and letting go. Her direct use of line and colour gives these subjects an immediate and personal visual language.
