Faezeh Hamami

Iranian · b. 2002 · Doost Art artist

Faezeh Hamami is an Iranian artist whose practice centers on drawing, collage, and mixed media. Working primarily on cardboard, she combines charcoal, pastel, colored pencil, and layered fragments to construct images charged with tension, movement, and symbolic associations. Recurring motifs and titles related to fire, threat, ascension, collective presence, and transformation give her works a psychological and sometimes dramatic atmosphere. Pieces such as We Are Standing in the Fire, Menace, Ascension, and The Crucified demonstrate her interest in combining figurative imagery with fragmented surfaces and expressive material. Across successive bodies of work, Hamami uses drawing as a flexible space for exploring vulnerability, memory, collective experience, and states of change.
