Thaddaeus Ropac Founded 1983 · Salzburg, Austria Thaddaeus Ropac was founded in Salzburg in 1983 and has developed into an international contemporary art gallery representing more than seventy artists and estates. Its program spans painting, sculpture, photography, installation, and other contemporary practices, alongside significant work in the secondary market, publishing, and institutional collaborations. The gallery presents more than forty exhibitions each year across seven spaces in Europe and Asia. Today, Thaddaeus Ropac operates at Ely House in London; Marais and Pantin in Paris; Villa Kast and Salzburg Halle in Salzburg; Palazzo Belgioioso in Milan; and Fort Hill in Seoul. The gallery also participates regularly in major international art fairs and produces publications accompanying its exhibitions.
