Xippas Founded 1990 · Paris, France Xippas was founded in Paris in 1990 by Renos Xippas, opening with a major exhibition dedicated to the Greek artist Takis. Based in the Marais district, the gallery has developed an international contemporary art program encompassing painting, photography, sculpture, installation, and drawing. Over the decades, Xippas has worked with both emerging and established artists and has presented more than five hundred exhibitions across its various spaces. The gallery has previously operated in cities including Athens and Montevideo, reflecting its long-standing engagement with both European and Latin American art scenes. Today, Xippas maintains galleries in Paris, Geneva, and Punta del Este, Uruguay.
