Galerie Maria Wettergren Founded 2010 · Paris, France Galerie Maria Wettergren was founded in Paris in 2010 by Maria Wettergren, initially opening in Saint-Germain before relocating to a larger space in the Marais in 2020. The gallery specializes in contemporary collectible art and design, bringing together art, architecture, craftsmanship, science, and new technologies. Its program has a strong Scandinavian foundation while increasingly incorporating artists and designers from Asia, Africa, and other regions. The gallery presents furniture, textile art, sculpture, ceramics, and glass, with an emphasis on material experimentation and conceptually driven practices. Galerie Maria Wettergren currently operates from its Paris location and regularly participates in international fairs including TEFAF, Design Miami, PAD, FOG, and India Art Fair.
